Dick Ferrando, owner of D & A Corvette, bought his first Corvette in 1962 in Bunker Hill, IL.    It was a 1958 and badly damaged.   It took Dick 3 years to repair the car.  During that time he worked full time for the State of Illinois as an engineering tech.   Repairing Corvettes in his spare time, Dick decided in 1974 that he wanted to repair Corvettes on a full time basis, so he started D & A Corvette.   From 1974 to 1980 D & A Corvette was a typical Corvette repair shop as opposed to a full restoration shop.   Dick continued to refine the repair process until he was doing total restorations.   Dick's desire and uncompromising personality are expressed in each car restored. They're not only restored Corvettes, but also works of art.
